In addition to Fashion Week timing, the 2011 PGA Expo will be co-located with the MRket®, MODA™ and ACCESSORIES: The Show®* events at The Venetian Resort providing convenience for buyers and new retail channel opportunities for vendors. A reciprocal badge entry agreement provides access to all three shows with any PGA Expo, MRket®, or MODA™ buyer badge. In 2010, more than 350 apparel buyers from Fashion Week events also explored the vendors of the PGA Expo. Additionally, PGA Golf Shows research finds that 60 percent of all apparel-buying PGA Professionals and AGM buyers visited the Fashion Week shows in previous years leading to significant convenience and added value for PGA Expo attendees.

Main Stage Schedule of Presentations:
Renowned golf instructor Butch Harmon, longtime PGA member and veteran NBC-Golf Channel broadcaster Mark Rolfing and TNT broadcaster Jim Huber bolster a strong main stage schedule of presentations at the 2011 PGA Expo. Club fitting, merchandising, growth of the game best practices and fashion trends complete a busy two-day schedule of presentations.

New Demo Night & Industry Networking Party
The 2011 PGA Expo begins with a new Demo Night and industry networking party at the Callaway Golf Center, just off the Las Vegas Strip, on Monday, August 22. PGA Professionals, buyers and industry leaders will be able to field test the newest equipment, training aids and accessories first hand, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., at the Center's two-tiered 113-stall lighted driving range, plus the putting and chipping greens. The Center's Divine Nine, a nine-hole lighted par-3 course, will be the site of a social golf outing and a Demo Night networking party will be offered throughout the facility.

New Product Zone

Education Conference
The introduction of The PGA of America's new "Golf 2.0" strategic action plan is among a diverse new schedule of seminars designed to increase participation in and move forward the business of the game during the Education Conference of the 2011 PGA Expo. The PGA Expo Education Conference is a collaboration of The PGA of America, Association of Golf Merchandisers and PGA Golf Exhibitions and includes tracks on General Management, Golf Operations, Instruction/Player Development, Retail and Professional Enrichment.

Elations Industry Reception – Tuesday, August 22, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., TAO Nightclub

  • The event's most popular networking event, the sixth annual industry welcome reception, sponsored by Elations supplement drink, is free to all PGA Expo attendees and features beer, wine, cocktails, martinis, hors d'oeuvres, and music. Please be sure to wear your show badge for admittance.

Media Registration
All media who pre-register as of August 17th will receive email confirmations of media badge approval by August 19th. Please bring the email confirmation and your photo identification to pick up your media badge at the Media Center located conveniently in the PGA Expo Media Center in Bellini Meeting Room #2101B, adjacent to registration and the PGA Expo Show Floor in the Venetian Ballroom (Level 2). Media MAY register on site with proper media credentials and photo ID.

In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, the PGA Expo is offering a "green" alternative to exhibitor media resources. Please use our online Exhibitor Media Library to search for exhibitor media materials by release date, alphabetically by name or by product category. On site, we will provide a "Going Green Exhibitor Media Library" Internet station and printer for media use. If we may provide any special assistance contacting an exhibitor, please let us know.

Separately, the online exhibitor directory now has a public relations contact component where exhibitors are able to provide you directly with their public relations representatives name, phone and email information.
